2Photo_Sv_ParaskevaLife and Paracletic Canon to St Paraskevi is a Bulgarian translation of the small book of the same name, published by the Agia Paraskevi Monastery in Nea Zichni, Greece. With this publication of ours and with the translation of Mr Shterio Paspalev, the Parish Council of our church, whose patron-saint is the holy virgin and martyr, aims to acquaint its readers with her life and martyrdom for our Lord Jesus Christ and through the Paracletic Canon to offer an opportunity to turn to the Saint, seeking her help and protection.
SpodelenoCarstvoThe original title of this book was Karyes, Mount of Saints. It inspired the parish community of Saint Paraskevi to visit the island of Lesbos and the monastery of Saint Raphael, this second Calvary, remaining forever connected to this holy place of martyrdom. In order for more people to be able to come in touch with the memory of the martyrs of Karyes, saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene, and to seek their full of grace help, the Parish council, together with the Synod Press of BOC, published this book under the title Shared Kingdom.
